Apple App Design Guideline 4.1 Copycats
https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines
(a) Come up with your own ideas. We know you have them, so make yours come to life. Don’t simply copy the latest popular app on the App Store, or make some minor changes to another app’s name or UI and pass it off as your own. In addition to risking an intellectual property infringement claim, it makes the App Store harder to navigate and just isn’t fair to your fellow developers.
This specific guidline protects ECG+ for
Original ECG+ screen layouts, navigation flows, and report presentation formats
Original visual arrangements for ECG findings, rhythm pattern displays, interval measurements, and ECG summaries
Original educational explanations, wording, feature descriptions, help content, and interpretive guidance
Original screenshot compositions, graphics, illustrations, icons, labels, and App Store creative materials
Original software implementation, source code, algorithms, data presentation logic, and interaction design
Original feature concepts as expressed through ECG+ specific design, structure, copy, and presentation
Restrictions
No part of ECG+ may be copied or reused, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Heartworks Pty Ltd, except as permitted by applicable law.
This includes, without limitation, copying or closely imitating ECG+ app screens, design language, explanatory content, report layouts, graphics, branded assets, or other original expressions developed for ECG+ for use in another app, website, product, publication, or service.
Third-Party Rights
Third-party names, trademarks, logos, platform references, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in ECG+ does not imply ownership by Heartworks Pty Ltd.
